With recent advancements in LED technology, The Direct Fit LED Bulb Kit range is now seeing one of the biggest updates in years, moving to a smaller and brighter design than ever before.

The sizing of the new Direct Fit bulbs are as identical to Halogen sizing as possible. The H7 specifically is now compatible with most unique H7 retaining systems and headlights due to the new collar design and bulb size.

TST is a new and important cooling technology to the JW Speaker range of Direct Fit LED bulbs. Instead of using PCB’s (printed circuit board) and thermal silicone like most LED bulbs, TST sees the attachment of the LED chips directly to the alloy shaft of the bulb. This process allows for a more even distribution of heat, ultimately reducing the strain on the LED chips and leading to longer life and a more stable beam performance. These diagrams show the heat readings on a traditional LED bulb vs the new Direct Fit bulb using TST cooling. The TST cooling measures a heat difference of only 8°C between LED chips and the base of the bulb where as the standard LED bulb measures more than DOUBLE the heat difference of base to chips.
