How do I convert my tail lights to LEDs?
The great thing about the plug-and-play kits from OzLED is that they’re so simple to install. Once you have your old tail lights removed, plug the harness into the back of the tail light and using your vehicle-specific patch lead, plug into your vehicles wiring loom. Are LED brake lights legal?
In Australia, LED brake lights are legal so long as they can be seen from up to 200m away and function as intended. Including but not limited to, emitting red light when braking. For more information, check your state’s local laws and regulations from their Department of Transport and Main Roads.
Do LED tail lights need a load resistor?
As both a legal requirement and a general safety recommendation, your plug-and-play LED tail lights should be fitted with a load resistor. Luckily, most of our lights from OzLED come with built-in load resistors for your convenience.
